Nexus Data Breakfast Club - Reading

Join other data professionals in the nonprofit and social sectors for coffee and donuts If you've joined us for Data Breakfast Club, you know you can expect great vibes, a fun theme, and an opportunity to connect with other data professionals in the Nonprofit and Social sectors. Breakfast Club! We're officially on the road! Join us at The Hatchery this quarter, as we lean into our nerd vibes and are all about READING! 📖 At Nexus, we love a good book - be it a physical book, a digital book, or an audiobook - we won't judge you for only listening to books on your commute OR for only reading physical books because of how they feel 🤓. We're fans of all genres and love a good re-read. But expect some spirited conversations about favorite books and organization methods 📚 And what better way to celebrate reading that to share it? For this event, we ask that you bring a book to share and/or donate. We plan to do a book swap AND donate children/teen books to some local organizations. As always, we’ll bring the coffee and donuts. We are excited to announce that our guest this month will be Andy Barclay - Statistician, Engineer, and supporter of civil and human rights. He will be highlighting some of his work in Atlanta. And a HUGE thank you to our hosts and sponsors: Emory University Department of Data and Decisions Sciences The Hatchery, Center for Innovation at Emory University DSci Alumni Council ---------------------------------------- Are you a nonprofit person that wants to get more out of data? Are you a data pro that wants to do more data for good? Are you the only one at your organization that thinks about data and need emotional support? This is the place for you! The Data Breakfast Club is an excellent opportunity to meet other professionals working with data in the social impact sector and to establish a network to help you advance your work and even collaborate on new projects.
