Third Annual Henry County Health & Wellness Fair

A free community health fair connecting Henry County residents with screenings, wellness information, and local resources. Healthy people. Stronger workplaces. A thriving Henry County. The Henry County Chamber of Commerce invites you to the Third Annual Henry County Health & Wellness Fair—a free community event focused on awareness, prevention, and helping residents take proactive steps toward healthier lives. Approximately 1 in 7 U.S. adults has chronic kidney disease, and about 90% do not know they have it. Diabetes and high blood pressure are also the leading causes of chronic kidney disease. This year’s fair will place a special focus on kidney health while connecting attendees with information and resources that support overall well-being (US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). WHAT TO EXPECT Attendees can look forward to: • Health Screenings • Health & Wellness Organizations • Community Resources • Information Focused on Awareness & Prevention The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is encouraged. Bring your employees, coworkers, family members, and friends for an afternoon of information, connection, and community wellness. The Kaiser Mobile Health Vehicle will be there! The Mobile Health Vehicle will provide a variety of free health screenings, assessments, and resources, including: • Blood pressure screening • Body mass index assessment (height/weight) • Cholesterol screening • Glucose screening • Exercise and Nutrition assessments • Food Security assessment • Referral to local healthcare resources • Referral to non-health community resources Learn more about the Kaiser Mobile Health Vehicle here.
