How can we age in place and grow older at home? Join us for a Connecticut Public conversation. The majority of older adults hope to age in their homes, but many don’t feel that’s possible, according to AARP data. So what exactly does it take to age at home? From modifications for safety and accessibility, to help with activities of daily living, this Connecticut Public conversation will explore what goes into “aging in place” – and why people want to grow older in their own communities. Join us November 5 at the Heritage Hotel & Conference Center in Southbury for our latest community conversation about aging and caregiving. Doors open at 6 p.m. for mingling and light refreshments. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. with a panel and Q&A session moderated by Connecticut Public’s Caregiving and Aging Reporter Michayla Savitt, followed by an opportunity to speak with fellow guests and visit sponsor resource tables.
