Preschool Harvest Hike

Learn about how animals prepare for winter during our Preschool Harvest Hike at Leon Levy Preserve. Celebrate the harvest season as we approach Thanksgiving by hiking up to the Black Mansion at Leon Levy Preserve to observe the busy animals preparing for the winter. LLT board member Shantala DuGay-Iyengar will lead hikers along the trail and, once we reach our destination, stay for a story and snack! This program is designed for ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes and appropriate layers are recommended. Heavy rain and other inclement weather cancels. We will still hike in light to steady rain with appropriate clothing and gear. Meet in Leon Levy Preserve parking area on Route 123, South Salem (1/4 mile south of Route 35).
