Forestry and Conservation Eco-buggy Tour: Morning

Hop on the eco-buggy and discover how ecologically beneficial forestry helps native species thrive! Join environmental specialist, Tommy Nordmann, on the Explore Volusia eco-buggy, and explore a newly thinned section of forest and learn how responsible forestry can benefit native habitat and wildlife. ** Important note: Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program. There will be some easy, short walks as well. RESERVATIONS: Required. Unless you have a confirmation email, you are not registered. TICKETS: No printed ticket is necessary. AGES: All ages are welcome. ATTIRE: closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing for the outdoors ** Some of our trails have mud and/or standing water because they are located in wetland ecosystems and because of seasonal rains and high tides. We recommend you bring a pair of waterproof boots in addition to your regular hiking shoes if you don't want your shoes to get wet. Our leader will let you know the condition of the trails prior to the start of the tour. WHAT TO BRING: water, sunscreen, and bug spray FACILITIES: There is a port-a-let but no running water on site.
