Hi SAATHIs! 🌟 Hey SAATHI Coppell is back with a conversation around a phrase many of us have heard our entire lives: “Settling Down” What Does That Mean in Our Lives and Our Children’s Lives? 💭 “Settle down.” It’s a phrase many of us grew up hearing - from parents, relatives, teachers, and neighbors. And now, without even realizing it, we may be saying it to our own kids or quietly hoping they’ll “settle down” someday. But what does settled actually look like today? Is it stability? Success? Calm? Responsibility? Predictability? Or is it simply a cultural shorthand we’ve inherited without really examining? Join us as we unpack what “settling down” asks of us and our children, where those expectations come from, and how they can shape the choices we make.
