Moving Toward Siddhasana

Many of us understand that yoga asana are a prelude to meditation. In this session we’ll start the day together with specific attention to making this transition. We’ll spend 20-30 minutes moving through sequences that wake us up gently (non-sweaty) and prepare us to connect with nuances of the seated posture. We'll then spend the remainder of the hour seated in gently-guided, primarily silent meditation. In time you’ll come away with simple sequences you can do anywhere to cue your embodied self towards alert, attentive meditation. No experience necessary.
