Midterm elections are approaching, and campaigning is already underway. Join WDET News Director Pat Batcheller for another Smart Politics event focused on election security Tuesday, October 13th, at La Feria Restaurant, (Spanish Tapas) and Cata Vino (Wine Bar) in Midtown Detroit. Pat will moderate a panel discussion with Aghogho Edevbie, Deputy Secretary of State, Daniel Baxter, City of Detroit Elections Office COO, and Simon D. Shuster, Bridge Michigan reporter. Audience questions will be part of the conversation. Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and guests are welcome to dine during the program. Seating is first come, first served.
