"Nos Vemos" Bystander Training: Advocating for Women and Immigrant Families

About the Event Bystander Training: Protecting Women and Immigrant Families on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026 When - Wednesday, November 11th, 2026 Time - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Arrival & Schedule – Doors open at 6:00 PM. Who Is This Event For? Everyone. Why and How: How can we prevent harrassment and advocate for women and immigrant families? The Cornell 7 case and continued presence of ICE targeting families in Chicago requires us to be informed of community safety strategies. Join us to learn a bystander framework training and Know Your rights (KYR) presentation. In collaboration with: National Immigrant Justice Center, Coalition of Immigrant Mental Health, Echale Ganas and more. Representatives will answer questions regarding legal services, immigrant mental health, trusted media, students from Latino Greek Life, and more. Event Details: This is a free in person training. Rsvp required for capacity purposes (link in bio). Training will be presented bilingually based on need (English and Spanish). Light foods and refreshments provided.
