Grounds for Connection: A Coffee Flight Networking Social

Coffee flights, genuine connections, and a room full of women in business who are ready to meet you. Join NGN at Ligaya Grounds! What if your next client, collaborator, referral partner, or business bestie is sitting across the table from you over a really fabulous coffee flight? ☕️ On Thursday, November 12, The Next Generation Network is heading to the beautiful new Ligaya Grounds in Metuchen for Grounds for Connection. And yes, we said coffee flights. We’re going to spend the morning trying a curated flight of Ligaya Grounds drinks inspired by their Filipino American menu. We’re talking about flavors like real ube, ChocNut, matcha, and their signature Ligaya coffee blend. Their menu has drinks like the Decolonized Ube Latte, made with real ube, homemade ube syrup, and ube halaya, the ChocNutstolgic Latte, and the Be Jolly Matcha Latte. This isn’t just grabbing a basic cup of coffee and standing around hoping someone talks to you. We’re going to help make the introductions, get the conversations started, and make sure you actually leave knowing the women in the room. Because that is the entire purpose of NGN. Building a business can feel really freaking lonely. And finding the right people should not have to take years. NGN brings women who are building businesses, growing ideas, and figuring it out in real time into the same room. You might meet your next client. You might meet someone who knows exactly who you need to connect with. You might meet a future collaborator, referral partner, or business bestie. Or you might simply meet another woman who understands what season of business you’re in and reminds you that you are not doing this alone. That is why we create these rooms. No surface level networking. No collecting a bunch of business cards you’ll never look at again. We want you to leave with actual names in your phone, follow up conversations on your calendar, and new people in your corner. During our two hours together, you’ll get to: • Try a curated flight of Ligaya Grounds drinks • Experience Filipino inspired flavors you won’t find at your everyday coffee shop • Introduce yourself and share what you’re building • Meet local entrepreneurs, founders, and business owners • Make connections that could lead to referrals, collaborations, clients, and friendships • Hear more about Tiffany and the story behind Ligaya Grounds • Spend the morning inside the kind of room NGN is known for creating Ligaya Grounds is also the perfect place for this. The entire space is rooted in culture, community, and Kapwa, the belief that we are all connected and that everyone already belongs. And babe, that is NGN. You don’t need to have the perfect business. You don’t need to have everything figured out. You don’t need to walk in knowing anyone. You just need to come. Whether you’ve been in business for ten years, recently started something new, or you’re deep in the messy middle, there is a seat for you. Come for the coffee flights. Leave with new people in your corner. ❤️ Space will be limited so everyone has the opportunity to actually connect. Bring your business cards if you have them, but more importantly, bring yourself. We can’t wait to introduce you to someone you need to know. 👉 Follow NGN here: @wearethenextgenerationnetwork
