Pleasure and the Pelvic Floor: A Sexual Intimacy Workshop Join us in person for a fun and eye-opening workshop all about pleasure and the pelvic floor. Whether you're curious or looking to deepen your sexual connection, this session offers practical tips, hands-on learning, and a safe space to explore. Perfect for anyone ready to enhance intimacy and understand their body better. Come ready to laugh, learn, and connect! What we'll cover: • Naming and working through barriers : Identify the mental and physical blocks (stress, body image, past experiences, pelvic floor tension) that get in the way of pleasure, and learn approaches to move past them. • Discovering what feels good : Practical ways to explore and map your own body's responses, so you can understand your preferences. • The science of arousal : How arousal actually works in the brain and body, and why understanding this can change the way you approach intimacy. • Communication that works : Concrete language and strategies for asking for what you want and need, and receiving feedback from a partner without awkwardness. • Sensation and exploration : An introduction to sensation play, helping you discover new ways to experience pleasure and connection. • Fantasies and kink, demystified : An open, non-judgmental conversation about desires and curiosities, and how to talk about them with a partner. What you'll leave with: By the end of this workshop, you'll leave with practical tools and language to bring into your own life and relationships. Apply them that very evening! This workshop is led by pelvic floor and sexual intimacy therapists. That means you're getting both the clinical and the experiential side of the conversation. Come alone, come with a partner; all are welcome. Light snacks and drinks will be provided.
