Tandem Throw: Pottery Date Night

Tandem Throwing at Erie ClaySpace: the ultimate creative date or bestie bonding activity! Pottery Date Night (For Everyone!) Grab a partner—friend, spouse, coworker, or actual date—and take a spin on the wheel! In this playful class, you'll each learn the basics of wheel throwing before teaming up for a tandem throwing session that's all about trust, creativity, and a little clay-covered chaos. You'll start by getting comfortable at your own wheel, learning how to center and shape clay with guidance from your instructor. Then comes the real fun: working together on the same pot! Bonus points for Ghost references—we'll even snap your iconic moment for Instagram. Together, you'll make 2–4 pottery pieces and choose from a selection of glazes to personalize your creations. We'll take care of the glazing and firing, and your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–4 weeks.
