Preparations for Childbirth @ Freeman Health System-Bentonville Medical Ctr

This class is to better prepare patients of Freeman - Willow Creek and Bentonville for their upcoming birth. One ticket per person, please. This class is for those who are planning to deliver at Freeman Health System - Bentonville Medical Center and Freeman Health System - Willow Creek Medical Center. Please order 1 ticket per person attending so we can ensure enough space for everyone. A tour of the Bentonville OB unit is available after class. Topics covered during this course includes: • Normal pregnancy findings • Body Changes • Signs of Labor • Labor Interventions • Introductory Relaxation and Comfort Techniques • Role of the Labor Support Person • Postpartum Care • What to Pack Class will be held in Classrooms A & B (across from the cafeteria). Refreshments and intermittent breaks will be provided. Note: Please use the Emergency Department entrance for class as the main entrance is closed on evenings and weekends. Also, a seat cushion/pillow may be beneficial.
