Bird-scaping: Supporting Migratory Songbirds in the Landscape

This presentation is packed with information and photos introducing you to the many kinds of migratory songbirds you can see in our area. Learn about the injuries and health problems these birds can face, as well as the care they need during rehabilitation—from the time they arrive until they are ready to return to the wild. Along the way, you will discover simple ways we can help protect birds around our homes and communities. Learn tips for attracting birds to your own yard, which native trees, shrubs, and flowers can help bring in more birds, simple bird-feeding tips, and ways to attract special visitors such as martins, hummingbirds, orioles, flycatchers, woodpeckers, and screech owls.
