Guided Walk: CREW Marsh Trails (Orange Trail)

Come walk with us! Join us for a guided 2.5 hour walk of the CREW Marsh Trails and learn the secrets of this special place. Walk through the oldest CREW trail system with us! Enjoy the wide foot-paths and established infrastructure - replete with picnic pavilion, observation tower and decks, and plenty of benches to enjoy a well-earned break. These trails are home to black bears, panthers, white-tailed deer, spotted skunks, songbirds and more. Time: 9:00am - 11:30am Please arrive a little early, so that everyone is set to start at 9 AM. Distance & Difficulty: ~2.2 miles at a leisurely pace across mostly level but unpaved ground, Difficulty: 2 / 5, may be some muddy but mostly avoidable areas on the trail. What to Wear and Bring: • Dress appropriately. We suggest: long pants, durable close-toed shoes, and hat. • Wear or bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and bug spray. • Hiking accessories, like walking stick, binoculars, camera equipment, flora and fauna guide books are optional but welcome. • Bring plenty of water or re-hydration drink & snacks.
