Outdoor Voices with Monet Izabeth, Solo Adventurer

Join SVT for another Outdoor Voices presentation. An evening of extraordinary endurance and perspective awaits with solo adventurer and storyteller Monet Izabeth. In January 2026, Monet became the first American woman to ski solo and unsupported to the South Pole, traveling 700 miles across Antarctica over 57 days. Alone in whiteouts and subzero temperatures, hauling every supply herself, her expedition was a profound test of resilience, preparation and the decision to begin before you're ready. Based between Massachusetts and Nepal, Monet has built her career designing immersive, locally led journeys that connect travelers more deeply to place and people—while inspiring a global community to step beyond what feels comfortable.
