Coastal Cleanup Day at Upper Newport Bay

Coastal Cleanup Day at Upper Newport Bay Join over 1,000 volunteers for one of Orange County's largest community volunteer events as we work together to remove trash and debris from Upper Newport Bay. Every year, trash carried through our watershed threatens wildlife, pollutes our waterways, and impacts the health of this unique estuary. Our goal is to remove over 10,000 pounds of trash from the Bay while protecting wildlife and improving one of Southern California's most important estuaries. Whether you're volunteering with family, friends, coworkers, a scout troop, or on your own, your efforts make a real difference for the Bay. Together, we can keep Upper Newport Bay cleaner, healthier, and more resilient for wildlife and future generations.
