Full description from organizerShow less
Explore war, resistance, freedom, and the impact of militarism through guided writing and discussion with Angela Waller. This interactive writing workshop centers BIPOC voices and invites participants to explore the personal and collective impact of war, militarism, resistance, identity, and freedom. Through provocative prompts, the words of BIPOC writers, and shared conversation, we’ll write into the spaces between what we’ve inherited, what we’ve experienced, what we resist, and what we imagine is possible. Come with your voice. Come with your curiosity. Come with your journal and something to write with. Venue: Hyde Park Art Center - Studio B
