THE YWCA RESPECT PROJECT

Changing conversations. Changing relationships. Changing communities. Join YWCA West Central Michigan for The Respect Project, a meaningful and engaging event designed to bring men together for open, honest conversations about domestic violence, respect, and healthy relationships. Open to men 18+, backgrounds, and walks of life, this event will explore the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, the importance of consent, and how respect plays a role in building stronger relationships and safer communities. Through education and conversation, participants will gain a better understanding of relationship dynamics rooted in power and control, increase awareness of domestic violence, and explore ways they can be part of the solution. Facilitated by Dr. Nikia Belcher, Ed.D., MA MS LLMFT, VP of Crisis Services & Community Programs. Together, we can break the cycle, support healthy relationships, and create safer communities for everyone.
