Learn woodshop safety at the Grand River Makerspace! By the end of this workshop, participants will: • Understand the importance of woodshop safety and why it matters. • Identify common shop hazards and how to avoid them. • Learn proper use and storage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Demonstrate safe behavior in the shop (tool handling, workspace awareness, communication). • Be able to follow shop rules and emergency procedures. (Participants must have closed-toe shoes to participate.)
