Family Night Out: Movie Night - Hoppers

This Family Night Out, we'll be showing the movie "Hoppers" while families make healthy movie snacks & learn about Cooperative Extension. In this session of Family Night Out, we offer a community movie night where folks will make healthy movie snacks and watch a movie. The movie will have a connection to agriculture, and you'll have the opportunity to discuss some of those connections with local Extension Agents. You'll also get a chance to see how NC Cooperative Extension's resources can improve your and your family's lives. We also invite you to participate in our NC Cooperative Extension Food Drive by bringing at least 2 canned goods per family. In November, we will collect all donated goods and donate them to Out of the Garden Project. The movie we will be showing is Disney Pixar's Hoppers. In Disney and Pixar’s “Hoppers,” animal lover Mabel (voice of Piper Curda) seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to ‘hop’ her consciousness into a life-like robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she uncovers mysteries in the animal world beyond anything she could have imagined, Mabel befriends charismatic beaver King George (voice of Bobby Moynihan) and must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major, imminent human-threat: smooth-talking local mayor Jerry Generazzo (voice of Jon Hamm).
