Caregiver Connection (Cancer Support Community)

Caring for a loved one with cancer can be an overwhelming experience. Caring for a loved one with cancer can be an overwhelming experience. Connecting with others who are on a similar journey can be a comfort experience and help you feel less alone. This group will provide a safe space for caregivers to talk openly about their experiences. Topics that will guide group discussion include adjusting to your caregiving role, resources and strategies for coping with caregiver stress, finding balance between your needs and those of your loved one, navigating the medical system and advocating for your loved one, navigating practical issues like FMLA, disability, insurance and other financial challenges, as well as other topics identified by group participants.
