Bachata is the sister of Salsa and it originated in the Dominican! It is an easy to learn, simple dance that you can dance to any music that is 4/4 timing....even music that is not considered Bachata music! It is a very versatile dance genre full of fluid, beautiful motion/movement and loved by all! Can anyone say Oh Romeo! Prince Royce! (They are the 2 Kings of Bachata Music!) - What is Tango? #1 just to clarify, this is American Tango. Think of Antonio Bandaras in the movie "Take The Lead." Just watch it and you will fall in love with Tango. The dance commands attention. It tells the tale of a push and pull kind of romance. It is powerful, sultry and magnetic. Drum roll please! - In each of these classes you will learn 5 Beginner steps/ combos that you can use on the social dance floor OR in any type of restaurant/ bar. The 6th Lesson (the last) is a review of all 5 steps! You don't need alot of space for bachata. You do need a little more space for Tango.
