Kareem's Mission: Beyond The Label 2027 Event

5th Annual Autism Awareness Luncheon and Community Impact Awards This year’s conference will look at autism from the inside out, exploring how the brain, sensory processing, communication, mental and emotional health, sleep, feeding, movement, safety, and other everyday experiences can shape how a person responds to the world around them. Through short, easy-to-understand presentations from professionals in different fields, attendees will learn what may be happening beneath behaviors or reactions that are often misunderstood. The goal is not simply to know more about autism. It is to use that knowledge to create classrooms, health care settings, colleges, workplaces, recreation spaces, businesses, and communities that are better prepared to welcome and support people on the autism spectrum.
