OG Instructional Practices: Oct 27, 2026

A Morning of Structured Literacy for K–5 Teachers. Every classroom has students who need more than the core program alone provides. This half-day workshop walks K–5 teachers through a full Orton-Gillingham lesson, the reasoning behind each part of it, and concrete strategies you can bring back to your own classroom right away. WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH: •A clear understanding of the flow of a full Orton-Gillingham lesson, start to finish. •The instructional rationale behind each component, so you know not just what to do but why it works. •Specific strategies, tools, and games you can use in your own classroom on Monday morning. WHAT'S INCLUDED •Hands-on rotation through eight OG practice stations, tried yourself before you take them back to your classroom. •A complete take-home materials packet.
