Nicholas Wells: Answers — A Live Filmed Narrative Concert

One night only: a limited studio audience for a live filmed narrative concert with orchestra—witness a life story told through music. For one night only, a small audience will gather inside one of New York City’s most legendary recording spaces, Power Station Studio A, for the live filming of Answers—a narrative concert built from the music of Nicholas Wells. This is more than a traditional concert. Answers is a narrative performance: a life told through music in real time. Through a sequence of songs written across decades, interwoven with live storytelling, the evening traces a deeply personal journey of love, loss, ambition, doubt, and ultimately, meaning. Backed by a full ensemble of strings, winds, brass, and acoustic band, the music unfolds as both performance and soundtrack, with each piece tied to a specific moment in a life lived and now revisited. As an audience member, you are not just attending a show. You are part of the story itself. Your presence helps shape what this night becomes. With limited seating, this will be an intimate, one-time event. It is a rare opportunity to witness, and be part of, something being created in the moment, inside a room where countless iconic recordings have been made. At its core, Answers is an attempt to make sense of a life through the one language that has always been there: music.
