SHOWING: The Contemporary Performance Workshop

Join us for an afternoon celebrating the creation of a new contemporary work along side a series of solo/duets by the CPW participants. This workshop is geared towards energetic beginner and intermediate dancers looking for an opportunity to perform in NYC. Over the week, we built a new contemporary dance work that is now being performed live! SHOW 1: 4:00p SHOW 2: 6:30p Runtime: Approximately one hour Through this process, the dancers had the opportunity to create and perform their own solo/duet work. This workshop focuses on performance techniques, contemporary movement qualities and building confidence in performance spaces. The environment is built for dancers to explore, challenge themselves and find joy through dance!
