Get your hands dirty and learn cool eco-friendly gardening tricks. Learn Permaculture strategies for your yard. Free cuttings and seeds! Attend our interactive and educational Volunteer Saturdays on the North Shore! Learn about permaculture design & organic growing practices! Plant local produce & trees, maintining existing permaculture systems, harvesting & learn about organic farming through community involvement. Mini food prep workshop at the end. Volunteer tasks may include garden tool use. Bring good work clothes, hat, gloves, bug repellent and sunscreen, lunch/snacks, and plenty of water. Organic produce usually provided as well as seeds, cuttings, plants and gardening advice in exchange for your efforts! Projects vary weekly depending on project. Includes tour of farm and 15 year old food forest. Saturdays from 9am-2pm. Farm Location: 59-075 Pupukea Rd, Haleiwa, HI 96712
