Family Loteria Night!

Bring your families out to our Hamilton Middle School to help celebrate our Hispanic Heritage with a fun night of Loteria! This event is being sponsored by our school's PTA. Game cards are only $5 each and can be purchased the evening of the event, at the door. Entry to the event is free and welcome to the entire family. There will be multiple lotería games and prizes for our winners! :) Please rsvp as soon as you can to let us know your family will be attending. This helps us have an idea how many people will be attending. When you add your name, please type " + and the number of guests that will be attending with you." This way we know if you will be a family of four, etc. Food vendors with be ready to sell a delicious variety of food that also celebrates our Hispanic heritage such as tacos, quesadillas, mini tortas, elote, and aguas frescas. Our AHMS students will be ready to share their talents via a dance program of ballet folclórico, art students will showcase their themed art work, Spanish class students will have their projects on display. Fun events such as make your own mini piñata to take home led by our school's art teachers, and a chance to take a swing at a large piñata with the theater teacher, will be some of our other fun events that evening. Our school's own DJ Byrd will be there playing some fun upbeat music to help in the fun! ¡Traigan a sus familias a nuestra escuela, Hamilton Middle School para celebrar nuestra Herencia Hispana con una divertida noche de Lotería! Este evento está patrocinado por la Asociación de Padres y Maestros (PTA) de nuestra escuela. Las tarjetas de Lotería cuestan solo $5 cada una y se pueden comprar la noche del evento, en la entrada. La entrada al evento es gratuita y toda la familia es bienvenida. ¡Habrá varios juegos de Lotería y premios para nuestros ganadores! :) Por favor, confirmen su asistencia lo antes posible para informarnos si su familia asistirá. Esto nos ayudará a tener una idea de cuántas personas asistirán. Cuando confirman su asistencia, pongan su nombre y " + mas el numero de personas en su grupo o familia. Asi nos ayudan tener una idea de cuantos individuales tendremos asistiendo este evento para la cantidad de comida y cantidad de cartas para los juegos de loteria. Habrá vendedores de comida listos para ofrecer una deliciosa variedad de platillos que también celebran nuestra herencia hispana, como tacos, quesadillas, mini tortas, elote y aguas frescas. Nuestros estudiantes de AHMS estarán listos para compartir sus talentos mediante un programa de baile de ballet folclórico. Los estudiantes de arte exhibirán sus obras de arte con temas relacionados con nuestra celebración, y los estudiantes de las clases de español tendrán sus proyectos expuestos. También tendremos otras actividades divertidas durante la noche, como la oportunidad de crear su propia mini piñata para llevar a casa, dirigida por los maestros de arte de nuestra escuela, y la oportunidad de intentar romper una piñata grande junto con el maestro de teatro. ¡Nuestro propio DJ Byrd estará presente, tocando música divertida y alegre para ayudarnos a disfrutar aún más de la celebración!
