Improving Content Understanding for Middle School Math Teachers

The first step to great math teaching is knowing your content. Join us and let’s dig in together. About This Event: Higher student achievement comes from knowing what you're teaching and to what level you should be teaching it. Many teachers spend too much time on standards that aren't theirs or on content that does not reach the AT proficiency level that students need. This workshop will highlight solutions for both of those problems and more. We'll dig into the standards and their peripheral resources to give you the content support you need. Who Should Attend: Middle school math teachers, grades 6-8 --- ESC and CIESC Member Discounts Is your school district a member of CIESC or another ESC in Indiana? You can register at a discounted price! Check the link below to verify your school district's ESC member status. Once ready you will click the registration option for an ESC Member District or CIESC Member District to receive the discount. Pay via Invoice If you need to pay for your registration via invoice, you may do so by selecting your ticket and then choosing the invoice option at check out. Cancellation Policy Cancellations made before the payment settles (usually within 24 hours) will be 100% refunded. Cancellations made 7 calendar days or more in advance of the event date, will receive a 90% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days of the event will receive a 75% refund. Any cancellation made on the day of or after will NOT receive a refund. In-Person Events Please note this event will be held in person and will not be recorded. In the case of unforeseen circumstances (such as inclement weather or situations beyond our control), alternative arrangements will be considered.
