With help from five community connector organizations, SocialHeart is throwing Kansas City's biggest young professionals event of the year! SocialHeart warmly invites Kansas City's young professionals to A Party With A Purpose! With the help of our five Community Connectors: genKC, KCK Forward, Leawood Chamber Young Professionals, The Loop KC, and Young Latino Professionals, SocialHeart is inviting Kansas City's next generation onto one rooftop for Kansas City's biggest young professionals' happy hour! On October 2nd emerging leaders boards, young professionals groups, networking groups, civically minded young folks from across industries & sectors, to gather under one rooftop for a night of networking, memory-making, drinking, & dancing. Held on the rooftop of the new Big Brothers, Big Sisters building, A Party With A Purpose exemplifies our motto: Have Fun. Make Friends. Do Good. Oh, and did we mention that we'll be spotlighting SocialHeart's six charity partners for 2026, and ending the night with a live DJ set by Kansas City's own Saul Gucci! About SocialHeart: SocialHeart is a 100% volunteer run non-profit, designed to connect young professionals through networking & group volunteer events - with all the proceeds of our bi-monthly KCYP events going towards local Kansas City charities! Our 2026 Charity Partners are: KC Free Eye Clinic, Great Plains SPCA, Mattie Rhodes Center, CASA of Johnson & Wyandotte County, Great Jobs KC, and CityYear KC! About Our Community Connectors: genKC is where early-career professionals come together to build connections, make an impact, and grow in Kansas City. The KCK Chamber rolled out KCK Forward Young Professionals in 2017 with the goal to convene and serve area professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 (or young at heart). The initiative’s pillars include networking, professional development and community outreach. Individuals in their 20s and 30s can join our Leawood Chamber Young Professionals program to grow professionally and bring their fresh perspectives to the local business community. The Loop KC brings together similar yet unique minds to create genuine friendships and ignite the next generation of business leaders in Kansas City Young Latino Professionals of Kansas City (YLPKC) is a volunteer-led network that brings together emerging Latino talent from every industry to connect, learn and lead. Grounded in four pillars—professional development, networking, personal growth and community engagement—we create spaces that build skills, spark meaningful relationships and amplify Latino voices.
