Meet and Greet With Author Jan Loveday Dickens

Parrott-Wood Memorial Library is hosting a Meet and Greet with author Jan Loveday Dickens Parrott-Wood Memorial Library to Host Meet and Greet with Local Author Jan Dickens Parrott-Wood Memorial Library, located at 3133 W. Old A.J. Highway, Strawberry Plains, TN 37871, is pleased to host a Meet and Greet with local author Jan Dickens on October 19th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Ms. Dickens is a local historian, licensed educator, and native of the area. In addition to teaching in local schools, she has taught at three regional universities. She currently writes Tuesday articles for the newspaper Knox TN Today. Ms. Dickens is the author of Forgotten in the Fork, a book exploring the history of the people and places located between the French Broad and Holston Rivers. She is currently working on additional books that continue to explore the history and stories of the region. This will be a wonderful opportunity for community members to meet Ms. Dickens, learn more about her work, and hear about the history of our local area. Light refreshments will be served.
