Preparing For Childbirth: 36 Weeks Class & Tour (Blount Memorial)

To help you and your support person prepare for the labor and delivery experience, the Family Birthing Center offers a free 36 Weeks Class. The 36 Weeks Class is designed to make your labor and delivery experience as seamless and stress-free as possible. During this practical and helpful one-hour program, you will: • discuss and complete the hospital consent for treatment form • talk about and complete your birthing plan • learn how to identify the signs of true and false labor • get helpful information about various topics • complete the mother's birth certificate application worksheet • be invited to take an optional tour of the Family Birthplace This class is held in Conference Room 2 on the second floor of the physician office building.
