Market to Market Relay Sports Massage TeamSaturday, October 17, 2026 3:30 PM – 9:00 PM Location: 605 N. 8th Street (8th & "T" Parking Lot) Haymarket District • Lincoln, Nebraska Join us for one of our favorite events of the year! This is a fantastic opportunity to provide table sports massage for runners after they complete their relay. They are incredibly appreciative of the work we do, and you never know who might end up on your table—Big Bird, Superman, or maybe even Papa Smurf! To provide the best coverage for the runners, I'm happy to work around your availability. Our busiest hours are 5:00–8:30 PM, so those evening hours are especially important. A minimum commitment of 3 hours is preferred. Since this is an outdoor event, please dress appropriately for the weather and bring layers. Requirements You must be a current Nebraska Licensed Massage Therapist, OR hold a Nebraska Temporary Massage License, OR be a massage therapy student currently enrolled in massage school. Please email a copy of your license. (Students are exempt) You must provide your own massage table. We will provide: • Hand sanitizer • Table cleaner • Paper towels Compensation & Perks Licensed Massage Therapists will be paid $40 per hour. Students are welcome to participate but are not eligible for financial compensation. You must check out with Natalie Wimer before leaving to receive payment. • If your scheduled hours remain the same, your check will be available at the event. • If your hours change, your check will be mailed the following Monday. Complimentary water and Gatorade. A dinner voucher with a minimum 4-hour commitment. Free opportunity to promote your practice—bring business cards, brochures, and other marketing materials. Attendance Policy Because this is a paid event and we often have a waiting list, please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Last-minute cancellations affect both the runners and your fellow therapists and may impact your eligibility for future paid Sports Massage Team events. Team Selection Space is limited. If we receive more volunteers than available spots, priority will be given to therapists with the greatest scheduling flexibility. Questions?
