Conscious Cinema: CIRCLES Screening

The documentary follows former football star and Hurricane Katrina refugee, Eric Butler, as he works with Black and Latino students at a West Oakland high school and uses Restorative Justice to challenge punishment-based approaches to school discipline. Youth leaders, parents, educators, mentors, RJ practitioners, community organizers, justice-impacted families, and anyone interested in creating safer, more supportive schools and communities are encouraged to attend.
