Celebrate Thanksgiving with Miry's List and New Arrival Supper Club with a traditional Afghan dinner prepared with love, Friendship, community, and the connective power of delicious food (without having to cook) ... what more could you ask for? Join us November 29, 2026, as Miry's List and New Arrival Supper Club partner with Scribble for our annual Afghan Friendsgiving dinner, featuring dinner by chef Huma Rahmani, new resident of Los Angeles from Afghanistan. FOOD IS LOVE IN ACTION We believe that a welcoming country begins with welcoming neighbors. Since 2016, Miry's List has welcomed and supported families arriving from countries around the world, including Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, Moldova, and Guatemala, helping them navigate the challenges of rebuilding their lives in a new country. Through New Arrival Supper Club, we celebrate the incredible talents, traditions, and stories our new arrival neighbors bring to our communities, one delicious meal at a time.
