Oil Painting Class - Still Life

🎨 In this 3 hour oil painting class we'll be painting a still life. We'll go over the materials, how to build up the painting in layers, and color mixing. You'll also receive individual feedback and will be able to see a live demo of the process as well. I'll walk you through every step of the way! 👩🏽‍🎨 You'll learn the techniques of the Renaissance Masters as we create our very own masterpieces in the style of traditional realism. This is a great way to learn how to use oil paints and can serve as a jumping off point to develop your own unique style. 🖼️ By the end of our time together you'll have a beautiful painting to take home with you! 🖌️ No experience necessary, all supplies are provided (including aprons!) ​​​​Location This is a private residence nestled in the equestrian neighborhood of Burbank. My current challenge is to paint so much that the paint on my palette never has time to dry. Originally from the Bay Area, I now live in Pasadena after obtaining my BFA in Drawing and Painting with Illustration Emphasis from Laguna College of Art and Design. All artists must wear a variety of hats, and some of mine include teaching, scenic painting, and live event painting.
