It’s time to get your hands messy! In our hands-on format, our Scuola Chef will guide you through how to prepare Roman Sauces. Ready to learn the secrets of Rome's most iconic pasta sauces? Join our Scuola Chef for this hands-on class and master the Roman Trio - Carbonara, Cacio e Pepe, and Amatriciana. Three dishes born from simple ingredients, each with its own unique twist, its own story, and its own place in the heart of Italian cooking. About this Dish: Rome is the birthplace of some of the world's most beloved pasta dishes - and none are more iconic than these three. Carbonara with its silky egg and guanciale richness. Cacio e Pepe with its sharp, peppery simplicity. Amatriciana with its bold, tomato-driven depth. All three come from just a handful of ingredients - and all three require technique, timing, and a little Roman attitude. In this Class You Will: • Learn about the traditions and culture of Roman cuisine and the stories behind each sauce • Make all three Roman sauces by hand with the guidance of our Scuola Chef • Enjoy a curated antipasto to start as well as your own finished sauces, with one to take home • Sip a glass of Italian wine while cooking, followed by a second paired perfectly to the dishes • Take home your recipe card to recreate it at home Please note: • This hands-on class is limited to 8 guests • The style of this class is set up for two people per workstation. If you come with a party larger than 2, additional guests will be paired with another guest for the workshop • The menu for this class is exclusive to the concept - some dietary restrictions may not be able to be accommodated for this format • Restrictions: Ages 12 and older. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Class price is per person. • One ticket purchase is valid for one guest • Seating is first-come, first-served • Class duration is approximate and may vary by 10-15 minutes • All guests planning to consume alcohol must be able to produce a valid government-issued identification to prove they are 21 or older. Groups of up to 4 guests: a minimum of 4 days' notice (class day not included) is required to receive a credit in the form of a coupon code for a future class or event We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather. In the event of a cancellation, we will contact you directly to offer a full refund or credit toward a future event. We are not able to offer credit, transfers, or refunds for last-minute illnesses, work-related conflicts, or personal emergencies — however, you are always welcome to send someone in your place. If purchasing this class as a gift, please share this policy with the recipient, as it will still apply. Credits issued for La Scuola events are redeemable only for future La Scuola events and cannot be exchanged for store credit or Eataly gift cards.
