He is dedicated to preserving and transmitting the traditions of Tibet’s healing science and Vajrayana Buddhism. Born in northeastern Tibet, Dr. Nida trained at Lhasa Tibetan Medical University and spent extended periods in meditation retreat. He founded the Sowa Rigpa Institute and teachers Tibetan medicine, Buddhist meditation, and yoga worldwide. Known for his clear and accessible teaching style, Dr. Nida emphasizes direct experience as the foundation of study and practice.
