Louisville AI Exchange - November 2026

Join our monthly AI meetup for real-world insights & shared learning. This Month: The Path Less Traveled: Between AI Hype and AI Doom Talk about AI tends to land at one of two extremes: it's going to change everything overnight, or it's a problem we can't contain. Between those positions is a third option, and it's where a lot of real innovation is happening. Jay Smith, Co-Founder & Chief Automation Engineer at 10xVelocity, will share how intentionality and engineering can make AI more private, more affordable, and easier on the environment, while also reducing hallucinations. Whether you build software, lead strategy, or simply use these tools for your own benefit, you'll leave with practical ways to put AI to work on your terms. About the Event If you're a business leader in Louisville wondering what AI means for you, you're not alone. That's precisely why Slingshot and the University of Louisville College of Business host the Louisville AI Exchange, a monthly meetup series designed to connect, inspire, and empower the local AI-curious community, without sales pitches or agendas. This meetup is a space where professionals from all walks (business, tech, government, and startups) can come together and ask the fundamental questions: What's working? What's not? What are others doing with AI that's solving real problems?
