Whether you're completely new to dragon boating or looking for a team to paddle with, you're welcome to come get on the water, learn the basics, and meet the Silver Dragons. 📍 Practice Location: RiverPark Place Marina | Louisville, KY 😎 Ages 12+🌊 All skill levels welcome🛟 Equipment & instruction provided Advance registration is required to save your seat. Exact meeting and check-in information will be provided to registered participants. Paddlers registered to race with the Silver Dragons receive priority seating for this team practice. Meet the Silver Dragons 🩶 The Silver Dragons are a welcoming dragon boat team for beginner and intermediate paddlers. Practices focus on technique, teamwork, and building confidence on the water. The team is open to new paddlers ages 12+ — and you can attend a practice before deciding whether you'd like to join them for race day. Race With the Silver Dragons! 🐉 The Silver Dragons are preparing for the 2026 Dragon Boat Festival at Lake Jericho, happening Saturday, October 3rd. No previous dragon boat experience is required. Coaching, practices, and equipment help new paddlers get race-ready.
