36 Winters

An art experience by Courtney Haynes, curated by The Gifted Studios. “36 Winters” is an intimate visual documentary of life, emotion, and growth told through 36 original paintings by artist Courtney Haynes. Each piece represents a year of life — from infancy to the present — capturing the raw emotions, memories, and defining moments that shaped the artist’s journey. The collection reveals the good, the bad, and the beautiful truth of transformation, offering viewers a deeply personal look into the artist’s soul. This exhibition redefines what it means to tell one’s story. While great figures often receive biopics, “36 Winters” transforms that concept into a living gallery — a cinematic experience through paint Beyond the art, “36 Winters” stands as a statement of empowerment — proof that creativity and purpose can rise from humble beginnings. It challenges the narrative that success is limited to sports or music, celebrating instead the power of artistic expression and perseverance. The evening will also feature the premiere screening of the short film “50/50”, followed by an artist Q&A where Courtney will open up about the inspiration, process, and meaning behind both the film and the paintings.
