Memphis Sustainability/CSR Happy Hour

Join us at Cooper House Project for a few drinks and conversation! We'll also hear from Lucinda Scrivener about the Memphis aquifer, the vital groundwater resource that provides drinking water to the Memphis area. Attendees will learn how the aquifer works, why it is unique, current research efforts to better understand and protect it, and why safeguarding this resource is essential for future generations. About Lucinda: she is the Education and Outreach Coordinator for the University of Memphis Center for Applied Earth Science and Engineering Research (CAESER), where she connects communities, educators, and students with cutting-edge environmental research. Through hands-on programs, public outreach, and science communication, she helps make complex Earth science topics accessible and relevant to diverse audiences.
