Learn to capture striking architectural photos, plus explore street photography and the character of the city around you Class Description: In this class, you'll learn how to create striking photographs of buildings, while discussing composition, lighting, and exposure. You’ll learn how to choose the right lenses, equipment, and other tools of the trade for architectural photography, as well as which camera settings to use to get the best results in different situations. We’ll also touch on street photography and techniques for capturing the character, energy, and interesting moments happening around you. Consider joining us at a fun downtown photo walk a few days after class at our Milwaukee Photo Walk! Do I need to pre-register? Yes, we have limited seating, so pre-registration is required. Don’t wait to sign up—if we don’t meet the minimum registration requirements, the class may be canceled. Secure your spot today! What do I bring to class? • Be sure to bring your camera, lens, charged battery, and memory card, along with any other gear you may have questions about. Having these with you will help you follow along with the presentation, take test photos, and address any camera-specific questions you may have! • We will provide a printout of the PowerPoint slides for you to take notes on. You will be able to take the PowerPoint notes home. • If you'd like to write down any questions you have, you're welcome to bring those with you. We will do our best to get to as many as your questions as we can.
