Join us at County Grounds Park to help remove invasive species - let's make our park beautiful together! 🌳💪 Volunteer Event: Buckthorn Removal at County Grounds Park 💪🌳 📅 Date: Sunday, October 18th, 2026 🕘 Time: 1:00 PM (plan for 2–3 hours) 📍 Meeting Point: Friends of County Grounds shed (see map & directions below) ✨ Why Join? Help us clear out invasive buckthorn and give native plants, wildlife, and people more room to thrive! 🌱🐦 Everyone is welcome — families too! 🧤 What to Bring & Wear • Work gloves (or borrow a pair from us) • Dress for the weather 🌦 (event runs even in light rain) • Sturdy shoes/boots • Water bottle (refills available) ✅ Tools, training, and supervision provided — no experience needed! 🚗 Important Location Info • Drive about 1 block north of 92nd & Watertown Plank Road • Parking is available (see map) • Meet at the shed just north of the Watertown Apartments • Extra maps at 👉 www.countygroundsfriends.org 📋 Registration requested to help us plan. 🚻 Note: No onsite restrooms. 📧 Questions?
