Gentle Yoga in the Gallery

Gentle Yoga combines mindful movement and breathing, in an art gallery setting, to help you relax, stretch, and calm your neural system. Gentle YogaGentle Yoga combines mindful movement with breath to release tight areas, improve mobility and calm your neural system. We move through asana/postures for strength and balance. Our slower paced class allows yogis to find alignment, allow for individual variation and to create space within. We practice breathwork and then add breath to movement for energy flow, mobility and stability. This is an all levels class, and will be held in the main level gallery. Date/Time: Thursday, October 29th, 1:00pm-2:00pm Class Cost: $10 Ages: Adults, and teens with an accompanying adult Class Size: 4-10 What to Bring: Please bring a yoga mat/ towel and a bottle of water Instructor: Susan Gavin, retired after 30 years of working in Physical Therapy, "I became certified in Somatic Yoga as an instructor. I have been teaching somatic yoga for the past 3 years in different community settings. Somatic yoga has similarities to the therapeutic movement that I am familiar with. I enjoy the opportunity to help yogis slow down, taking time to breath, and to move with awareness. Seeing yogis leave with a smile on their face is very satisfying"
