This interdisciplinary presentation reviews the clinical overlap between eating disorders (EDs) and borderline personality disorder (BPD), and presents practical, integrated clinician and dietitian strategies for assessment, safety planning, and evidence-based intervention across levels of care. Participants will learn how emotion dysregulation and impulsivity characteristic of BPD can shape ED presentation, how to collaboratively formulate risk, and how to adapt DBT-informed psychotherapies alongside nutritional rehabilitation and meal support.
