Join us for a four-part lecture series exploring the people, places, and ideas that shaped Plymouth during the American Revolution. In-person and Online tickets available. Colonial courthouses were as much the site of the Revolution as taverns, town greens, and battlegrounds. The symbolic architecture of Plymouth's 1749 Courthouse provided the dramatic setting for the changes the people of Plymouth went through, from colonial subjects who protested and struggled through eight long years of revolution to become citizens of a new republic, with all its faults and its promises for the future.
