Once a Community: Public Housing Demolition & Relocation

Join us for a Greene Homes Photovoice exhibit event and hear from experts on the topic of public housing demolition and relocation. Across the country, public housing complexes are being torn down and families displaced. Here in Bridgeport, the Charles F. Greene Homes community is slated for demolition. Residents of the Greenes came together to do a photovoice project, using images and narratives to capture their community. Come to Bridgeport Library to view the exhibit, talk to the curators, and hear from experts on housing inequity. We will discuss strategies for alternativehousing systems that work for everyone.
