In this hands-on introduction to screen printing, we'll learn what it is, how to do it, and different forms of printmaking. Guided by Free4ALL artists Sarah Pimenta and Tyasha/Ty, participants will screen print ready-made designs onto clothes, create with nature, and practice different techniques on paper. We'll have a limited supply of clothing items to print on. Participants should bring a t-shirt (or jeans, sweatshirts, tote bags, dresses etc.) to ensure you leave with something that fits. ALL AGES, ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME! This program is created and produced by Free4ALL in partnership with NXTHVN. The program is funded by Break the System Archive.
